Default "Eye" spy 3 silver

From the land of the Bluenose.....first thought of the day....oh crap on night shifts starting this evening! With that horrid thought etched into my febble mind I grabbed a Tim's and motored down the highway to yet another one of those once a year spots which was totally deserted with near a human, dog nor duck around.

The Seahunter Mk 11 sprang to life with the aid of 8 new double "a" Energizer batteries. You know the brand folks. It's the one that "keeps on going and going" and has that annoying pink rabbit as a mascot. Lord love a duck I cannot tell you how many times I fantazied about how that mammal would taste in a stew or pot pie. Targets at this location were as scarce as hen's teeth but what the halibut I was out swishing and both the water and day were clear and blue. In shoulder deep water hit a spill of dimes and a blackened banged up bangle which I later (when I put the glasses on) found out was stamped .925!

Always seems that time was at a premium so I packed up and pointed Goquickski to yet another one of my once a year neglected spots. After conversing with Bruce and Craig, the life guards, it was into the drink once again. Here the bottom was full of rocks making retrival an arduous task to say the least. Lots of signals here that keep me busy for the next hour till it was time to leave to pick up the "boss" and get ready for work. Couple of odd ball finds here were a lure (showed that to the bouys) and a child's ring that had an eyeball.

End result of the day was a silver bangle, 2 silver rings, fishing lure and 38 coins at $4.10

First photo shows the bouys hard at work which is over for the year come Tuesday. Second the rings while the third the haul for today.

Default Up to yer shoulder in the water?

Hi Leslie!

Appreciate your reports! Always happy to read of yer adventures... This Summer has been busy here... Only now able to go and comb a few sites.
You actually went in up to your shoulders in the water? I can only assume that you have a waterproof machine.
Do you also use extreme waders, do do you get wet?
Can't go more than a foot or two with my DFX....

Cheers! -Tom
