SAM, I used to live at the beach and hunted all of the time. Your Ace 250 should not give you any trouble around salt water. I have an ACE 250 also. Always check around the lifeguard stands after they have been removed for the winter. The best place to find coins is above the high tide line where people spread their blankets to get some sun. All of you heavier stuff...Bracelets, Rings and the such are usually located BELOW the high tide line so you need to search that area all the way to the water during Low tide. AFTER A STORM or AFTER A DAY THAT THE WATER HAS BEEN REALLY ROUGH is the absolute BEST time to search any beach area. The water has had a chance to disturb all of the sand and wash up items. Always check the trenches or OUTLETS in the sand after a storm also...Any places on the beach where the water tends to BACK UP and stay.Good Luck in your beach hunting and let us know how you are doing....PAPPY
P.S. Also check at the end of walkways leading to the beach and ALWAYS check cig. packs lying on the beach. I have found as much as $100.00 placed in the cig. packs for safekeeping and then the owner forgot they put it there and walked off and left it.....PAPPY
