Hit the beach this morning. Temps in the 40's with the water still in the low 60's. Lots of sand had been moved around from the storms the preceeding few days. Everything I found was deep. Did not find many coins today, but a few older ones including a 1968 nickel and a 1965 penny, but no silver for me. Found two women's watches, a Jarel and a Brighton Monroe. Also found a gold plated cross, some kind of pendent that looks like a feather, and a cool hot wheels car.

Yes, both watches are still running. They were in an area that normally would be considered the dry sand area, but a storm that weekend had washed the surf up to the dune line. Both watches were buried in the sand and within 20 yards of each other. I was surprised to see them in my scoop.
