hi pat

that movie is one of my all time favorites along with another movie called HITCH. I picked the name shallow hal for this forum because i will mainly be detecting at the beach in shallow water and thought it fit.
i just started hunting a little while ago so so far i havent found any holy grail stuff yet but i love the beach . this is gonna be one great hobby.

That name fits I am not near the ocean but I love to hunt the swimming areas. Those sandy beaches turn up some nice finds every once in awhile! Glad you are enjoying the hobby! Wishing you lots of luck on some great finds!
