Finally found the time to get back in the water
I haven't had the chance to hunt for a week now. I finally got in a little hunt time and wound up going after deep targets embedded in the newly formed sandstone under the beach sand.
Picked up some old British coins, possibly left by the inhabitants of the old british army barracks that used to be across from this beach, WWI era king george V half penny, 3 of the large british pennies from the early 60's with the young Q. E. II on the back and a more recent 1 Gulden coin from the Netherlands. Managed to scored up an old 10k gold ring that was buried in the limestone. It was broken as I used my PVC scoop to dig it free, darn. Last edited by bdahunter; 08-10-2006 at 07:37 AM.
