Default Bermuda Surf Church

My buddy Jim and I went out to Horseshoe Bay for the first Bermuda Surf Church on Sunday morning. There was a gale blowing and high surf but we were determined to get out there and hunt the best beach in Bermuda.
The wind and waves pushed us back from the mine as it was impossible to get out to the goodie zone. We didn't find any gold or silver just a few british coins and some regular clad but we had fun just the same and that's what it's all about right?
Here's the pics.
The water temp was 73 degrees and the winds were tunning 40 knots with waves 4 feet. I was glad to have my wet suit on with the wind chill. It must sound odd to people who are coming into winter but for here it is getting cold. (most Bermudians stop swimming when the water drops below 80 degrees, I guess this Canuck is getting soft)

Cheers,

BDA

Horseshoe Bay was the place where the wife and I spent most of our 5 years in Bermuda. We are in agreement with you, it is the best beach in Bermuda. I did pretty good there with my machine. I know there is a bunch of good stuff on that beach.

Default Got Back to Horseshoe Bay for the minus tide

Besco and I decided to go back to Horseshoe Bay for another go. I managed a gold men's wedding band and two silver rings. Besco didn't fair so good but it was still fun.
Here's the loot
