Default 23 more days

I will be on the beach at Fort Myers Beach in Florida. I will be in the blue house and working on the beach where it is warm in front of the house. I am so ready. I have extra batteries, my sand scoop ,my trusty knife, sun screen and a cooler. Let the good times roll. I am so tired of winter.

Default Beach Bunnies????

First of all at this stage of my life I am almost to old to care. Besides I will have my bride of almost 50 years to do the digging and carrying the beer with me.

Default 138ranger Fort Myers area

I have been going to that area for years. My father had a place in North Fort Myers. He also had a 21 foot boat and we would go out to St.James and put the boat in and fish the area. 3o years ago there used to be an "old guy-like me" that would work the beach by the pier at Fort Myers Beach every morning early. Their was even a post card that you could buy with his picture. Once we had Christmas dinner in our motor home at the light house on Sanibel complete with a Christmas tree and lights on the dash. Oh, the good times. Your photos only increased our desire to feel the sand under our feet.
