Great stories from all of you, thank you. I have had many online names, usually something to do with Mountains since I live in the Rocky Mountains. Names like "Inmountains", "Intomtns", "Mtnman", etc...

So when I started metal detecting this year, and wanting to join some forums, I wanted a simpler name to use. My last name is "McKinzie", thus the Mac in my name. But the MD does NOT stand for "metal detecting", so let's have a little fun and see if anyone can guess what the MD stands for?

Could it be "Medical Doctor"?
Could it be "Masterful Detectorist"?

No, it is much more simple than that. It's just my initials, Michael David, the number 1 and number 2 most common names from the "Baby Boomer" Generation.
