Tinman, I really could see your story in a movie, but I always want you to be the Tinman. No wonder you're so creative. This is probably one of the best threads I've read. Really great!

I'm Pris because when the internet was just beginning to be a past time, right before browsers really hit it big, there were things called Talkers. I was in college and used to go to a few talkers and had friends just like on here. I named myself Pris after Priscilla Queen of the Desert because it was one of my favorite movies at the time. The music is really fantastic. I also felt prissy and a bit more apt to have a payful attitude as Pris.

My real name is Edie, and didn't want people to call me Eddie, as they sometimes will. It's not a common name, so I figured Pris is easy for people to pronounce.

Tinman - Many, many years ago there was a television movie that came out about the guy who wrote the Wizard of Oz. The actor playing the guys part was John Ritter (I am almost certain). It showed how he was a storyteller to children and made up the story of the Wizard of Oz as he told the story, then later on he penned the story. The end of the movie showed how he passed away and his wife was around to see her husbands story put to film, that became such a classic. Are you familiar with this television movie and what the name of it would be? I told my wife that I would love for her to watch it since it portrayed such an incredible man and his love for children.

Yes I do. The movie was called the Dreamer of Oz and it was John Ritter tha played the Creator of The Wonderful Wizzard of Oz L. Frank Baum. He was a Story teller born in the Mid 1800s I believe. It is a Great Story of a very Wonderful man and I will have to try to find it as it has been quite a while since I watched it. I can not remember her name but she played on the Golden girls and she played his mother-inLaw who was the one that prodded him in to writing his stories. I think your wife would Love it and look at the Wizard of Oz in a different light. Thanks for bringing that up, I had forgotten about it.

I also was not creative with my name Sheri is my first name and the O stands for my maiden name O'Quinn and Bailey is my last name now. Which in all makes for great initials SOB. lol
