Great post

Tinman, touching beyond words.

In addition to my life long pursuit of treasure, I have a number of other hobbies, one of them fishing. I bought a boat that is really a water-ski boat, and out fitted it for fishing, and its not uncommon that you can find me offshore fishing, up to 30 miles out. A few jokes like, "hey you lose your skier out here? ha ha ha" and skiboatfisher was already taken on a few fishing forums so, I am known as "Skifisher" because I fish a lot, from a ski boat.

Oh, and I don't really water ski, thats just trolling for big fish to me

My name was actually given to me years ago. I've been swinging a detector for some 30 years here in Dodge City Kansas and people used to call me the guy with the detector. It got shortened back in the early 90's when I ran a bulletin board, not the Internet ones but on my PC with modems, by my users to Detector.

Ok my turn. Indy is an abbreviation for Indianapolis, Indiana.
Even though I don't live close to Indianapolis, I thought I'd still use this name to represent the Hoosier State. AND I really hate my name, I think INDY just suits me now.

Well you could probably figure out mine pretty easy. I've been using this name since I got on the net back in 1990. It comes from being a Southern Gal and that I am! lol

Hey Tinman, I just about started crying when I read yours. That was such a touching story. I pray you both live a very long time.

Rip... I wondered if your name had something to do with Graveyards,

<quote>I had a major brain freeze when it came to choosing something. Initially I thought about joesgrl90 (I'm Joe's girl, we were married in 1990) - but I saw gordiesgirl and didn't want to look like I was copying. Then I considered my biz name ByInvitationOnly...but out of context, that can look a bit suggestive So I ended up with the lame riki727 - my first name and birthday. But anyone who knows me personally just calls me "Reds<end quote>

riki727- is your birthday July 27th?

HaveFaith and FinalLastDays-I loved your testimonies. Thanks for not being ashamed to share your testimonies. It's good to know there are others out there who love him enough to stand up for him no matter where they are.

Wow! I can't believe I almost missed a post! Well, mine started when I was on the P.D. I was Sergeant there every body called me Sarge
Where I work now we have two Sergeants but I was the first, and every body calls me Sarge there too. And my last name is Stone so ,sarge1stone. Any more I don't care what I'm called as long as I'm called for dinner!

TINMAN, Awesome story! I will always remember this post! The Wizard Of Oz is my wifes favorite movie and she has the complete character set from when she was a girl.
Fiftytwo pennies, this is an awesome thread! Thank You!
