Here's 2 guesses, like I said before, this is over my head but I'll give it a try.

I'll guess that the mystery of MD-III is either:

At your house in Parker, CO with your Metal Detector, the Prism III

or....

At Sweet Home, OR at White's Electronics where you bought your Prism??

I. MDIII is not a metal detector, nor a physical object of any kind - but rather a key to direct you to the final location.

II. All of the clues have been designed to point you in the geographic direction of the treasure...

III. Since this was not a physical hunt - I've recommended maps, the internet and information on the TQ website as means to decipher the clues...these can still help you...
