I think I have a good guess Tinman. But it was a hard one. I was driving all day from Kentucky to South Carolina and when I logged on at 3:00 PM here I just knew the second clue would have been guessed. So maybe my luck is continuing. I have been so lucky since I joined this group which is a stark change from all my previous years. And the people here are all the reward a person could ask for. I watched "The Good Life" again on Tuesday after Gregory mentioned it moved me. Oh well, If I get this point I will take a break and let some others guess gr. JC

JC I don't think you have a good guess I think you hit it right on the head. Very logical. Water, Steel on my back ( ships ) have given life & taken with so many souls below and treasures behold ( water for sure and first clue NORTH ), Many names and one the greatest= Superior = Great lakes = Lake Superior. If thats not right then I'm made of Alluminun and Not Tin.

JC Strikes Again!
Hello everyone - hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving...I know Peggy and I sure did!
JC - you da man! The answers for which I was looking was either "great lakes" or "Lake Superior"...JC's answer on 11/21 @ 1:42 was the first correct answer - so now 2 points for the young man from Kentucky! I'll try to post Clue#3 later tonight - after I catch-up on the stuff that I actually supplies my paycheck! Nice going JC - and I hope everyone is enjoying the contest! Shawn

OK folks! So far, JC has proved to be the great detective and leads the pack by correctly solving the first two clues...but let's just see how he does on this one...
First, a recap of the first two clues: 1. North 2. Great Lakes / Lake Superior Now for today's head-scratcher...
