Default 3rd Clue guess

My gueses for this clue are 2...

1) Lead
2) The letter "E"

I am no good at this stuff...rofl

Happy Huntin',

First, a recap of the first two clues:

1. North
2. Great Lakes / Lake Superior

Now for today's head-scratcher...

If it's treasure you seek - this clue is not for the meek;
Every place has many names, and the names you must discover are three;
To locate my digger - a common thread you must figger ;
between fine crystal, Ed Norton and me! (EPC Guy)

Good Luck!

OK - here's a bit of clarification...it's the Ed Norton from the Honeymooners...and so, far all of the responses are incorrect. It IS really pretty simple - keep in mind who thought it up!!
