Default Wow, what a day!

Thanks LiveBlues, personally I believe that reaching out and helping somebody by sending them $5 is a BIG dadgum deal, $20 is HUGE and $50 just blows me away. You and Ejlian have done an awesome thing… Thank you BOTH so much.

Ejlian I noticed that you and Canadian Detector have been kind of laying low and haven’t post since April of this year, but when you heard the call for help you both stepped forward, that speaks volumes about your class and character.

Thanks for the linkback Ross, that’s what a true friend does. Maybe we can help you guys out by returning the favor one day.

I've added the Clubs to make it more fun and challenging. Keep finding them clads and see what club you can reach by Dec. 18th.

Double Gold Club (40 or more tickets)

Gold Club (20 or more tickets)

Silver Club (10 or more tickets)

Bronze Club (5 or more tickets)

Will update around 10pm tonight, very, very interesting stuff, don’t miss it. We have a couple of folks ready to sweeten the pot... Thanks John and LiveBlues.

If you have any old books, MD’ing stuff or anything of value that you want to add to the pot send an email to Greg and let him know.

Thanks everybody!

See ya at 10,
Dave

Hi Guys and Gails,

Today’s Gifts:
Total: $310.00. Totally Awesome, keep up the outstanding work!

Today’s Givers:
cntrydncr1
anonymous
daveo44
LiveBlues
Ejlain
Ross

Thanks daveo44, Country Dancer, Ross and Mr Anonymous… Outstanding job!!! I believe I’ve personally thanked everyone else, please forgive me if I’ve missed someone.

Today’s Pot sweeteners:

John from John’s Detectors

John emailed me today and said he was going to look around his store and try to find something to sweeten the pot. What a great sponsor, can’t wait to see what he comes up with… Stay tuned!

-----

LiveBlues from Sun Valley, ID
Here’s a sweet deal just in time for Christmas shopping:

LiveBlues says and I quote,

Quote:
“I work for Smith Optics, Inc. We manufacture high end sunglasses and goggles. For every contribution made to this cause, I can provide a URL and a PIN # that will allow folks to purchase the following items at a great discount.

I might be able to sweeten the pot a little bit though. For every contribution, I can provide a URL and a PIN# that will allow the user to purchase the following items at a very nice discount.

Up to:
2 pair of sunglasses
2 pair of ski goggles
2 ski helmets
unlimited replacement lenses, apparel and accessories

The discount is 20% off of wholesale. Wholesale is 50% off of MSRP (Retail). You don't have to buy everything, but it is a one time order though. Whatever you wish to purchase must be done on one order.”
Is that awesome or what!? Thanks again LiveBlues!

For people who contribute (including those that already have), please contact Greg and he will hook you up with LiveBlues.

Remember, anyone else that has something of value that they would like to add to the pot, please PM Greg and let him know.

(Monday 11/26 10:00pm Central Time)
Grand Total: $1,162.

You guys and gails are really making this life changing event happen! Thank you so much, Y‘all are the cream of the crop.

I've decided to wait until tomorrow night to put everyone into their prospective clubs because one fella sent a $200 gift today (Yeah, WOW) and asked to remain anonymous. And that made me wonder if anyone else feels the same, I certainly don’t want to offend anyone.

So, I’ll wait until tomorrow night to fill in the clubs, PM me if you want to remain anonymous too.

Like I said, I think the clubs will add fun and challenge to our giving. I’m open to opinions and ideas if anyone would like to PM me.

Here's an idea, people could team up in pairs and challenge other teams to see who can pull the most clad by Dec. 18th. I'd be willing to pair up with someone and try to spank some other team's butt. Maybe we can pool the names of the people who want to play and then draw for teams. We can even make it a week to week challenge. Feed back anyone? Contact Greg if you are up to the challenge and want to play.

Keep huntin them clads and see what club you can reach by Dec. 18th.

Double Gold Club (40 or more tickets)

Gold Club (20 or more tickets)

Silver Club (10 or more tickets)

Bronze Club (5 or more tickets)

Thanks everybody!

Til tomorrow,
Dave

I really wish I could give something.......I am in Iraq again and in the Middle East for my 5th time. I really hate this place, but I know its for the greater good and to show a repressed people what freedom is. Even if it kills me, I will remain loyal to my country and my beliefs will never change. Everyone have a Merry Christmas, just remember what you are truly celebrating, the birth of Christ. Hold family sacred and dont let all the merchandising get to you. :merrychristmas:
