Hi Tinman,
I wanted to say Thank You for covering me, that is great of you. You didn't have to, but way cool though. I don't have a detector yet,so getting one would be exciting. But since i am saving to get an XLT, if i do win the detector, i will donate it to Samuel. I think he would have fun with it. Thanks again Tinman for your generosity.

I need to make a couple of announcements and don’t want them to get lost in the “daily totals” post.

1. We pulled the gifts that are still in the mail and will repost them once they arrive.

I want to personally apologize to Ross and EggHunters we pulled their names along with a lot of others to help us straighten out the totals, then their gifts came in and we missed reposting them.

I take all the blame and I am soooooo sorry.

2. If any other member has sent a donation and your name isn't listed please contact Greg asap.

3. Greg will be taking $212 out of the grand total to purchase the detector.

4. I will be going to the local police or fire department and let one of our finest pull the winning name from the bucket… I’ll try to post some pics of the event.

Thanks again everyone for your wonderful response!!!

Dave

Dave,
Just a quick note to say thanks to you. Without your timeless input this whole thing would never have gotten to where it is today. The whole TQ community is really pulling together for this event, from Greg all the way down to the younger members and newbies - and you are the catalyst. In case I forget to say thanks to you later, have comfort in knowing that your efforts are greatly appreciated.
p.s. I hope your puppy is feelin better

I am but one spoke in this amazing wheel, thanks is not necessary. Seeing everybody respond in such a quick and caring way is thanks enough for me. It’s the team effort that made this effort so special.

Thanks y’all,
Dave

Looks like we're pretty darn close to reaching our goal, i've got a feeling that we just might make it(hehehe). Just in case, anybody who has been waiting to give, now would be the time. If you feel that your gift is too small, or insignificent - nonsense. Every little bit counts. In this instance the sum is truely greater than the total. If your gift is from the heart that is all that matters. Get to know the feeling of goodness, by giving a little to a family that is less fortunate than you. Bill/Sheri are going through some tough times and if we the members of this forum can help to ease the suffering a little - then lets get it done. After all this is the Season for Giving.
