Default What do I want to be when I grow up?

Served 20 years with a small city police department, retired in 1999. For the past seven years I have worked as a sales rep for a major domestic sheet steel company.

Trying to figure out a way to make a living out of treasure hunting. Found 18 cents this weekend .

I work for an telephone company in PA as an engineer. I have been with the company for 25 years. Our territory stretches about 300 square miles so I have the opportunity to check out alot of great MD sites within that area. I have alot of years to go before retirement but hope to make it there healthy so I can spend alot more time MDing.

Vocational Rehabilitation counselor...Like working with the kids, been doing it for 25 years and have about 6 more to go.

I owned a Vega tubaphone banjo with a Wyatt Fawley neck..most comfortable neck I ever played..Wyatt makes the best necks I have seen. Now I am playing one that I bult the neck for, not as nice as Wyatt's but I felt the need to build one. Repair a few fiddles and acoustic guitars for a local shop from time to time, and also a part time old time musician...play guitar, upright bass mainly...some banjo and a little mandolin.

I work in the IT department for a sugar company as a Systems Administrator. (I work on computers and networks) We have facilities in 4 states, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska and Colorado. I travel a bit to these areas. I will have worked for the same company for 35 years in June. Needless to say 35 years ago there was not a big need for computer jockeys, I started out in Engineering and maintenance. The rest is history as they say.

Default Self-employed Now!

I spent 22 years with Tyson Foods, Inc but the last 5 years I have owned and operated a convenience store/deli/sandwich shop called FLEMZ Market & Deli in Columbia, NC. Gives me a lot more free time to go detecting or kayaking than the old corporate routine did.

I work as a software engineer. I have been in Information Technology (IT) for about 15 years.

Prior to that I was in the U.S. Air Force and I worked as a Jet Fighter mechanic. When I got out I obtained my FAA Jet Mechanics license and worked on DC8's for about 8 years.

Today I work in IT for an Insurance company in Michigan. I am working on a new web site for, what else, insurance purposes.

If you ever want to search the web and you are tired of using Google or Yahoo! give my search engine a try. I wrote this about 4 years but I have yet to turn in to a Google.

I work as an Electrical Engineer for Zebra Technologies, where we make barcode printers. In my role, I am a sustaining engineer, which once new products are released, I maintain the designs, make changes to fix problems, and cost reductions. I also do some new product designs as well, mostly leaning toward embedded processor programming and designs.
Unfortunatly in my role, I don't get to do as much designing as I would like, but I do get to do some.
