Well, I used to be a sign-painter, and to supplement that income, I worked in a small country grocery store for (what seems like FOREVER! -15 years.) Before that, I was a vet-tech in Fla.

Then I met this wonderful man, (who had been a meat-cutter and store-owner) and we bought a farm 2 years ago, and are raising dairy and meat goats (for fun, and hopefully some profit before too long. But, even if they don't ever make us any money, we love having them, and they make us laugh constantly. ) We also homestead... we LOVE being on the farm raising most of our own food. We raise steers, we garden organically, we raise chickens...we are VERY busy come the warmer weather. (can't WAIT!)

Our metal detector just came today, and so now we are hoping to make lots of income from that, and we are WELL on our way, as today, we braved the snow, wind and cold and after about 2 hours, a few bottle caps, foil, and some rusty nails, we found a (drumroll, please...) 1976 PENNY! LOL! It is fun, though, and it is neat learning how to do it.. (I am still shivering though, and I came in the house about 2 hours ago! BRRRR!)

Helped people get new jobs as a recruiter (headhunter) for 3 years, and now just got laid off from Selling Software for the past 7 years. Currently, Metal Detecting and Treasure Hunting is my FULL-TIME gig, ain't I lucky!!! Must not be too good at it because I haven't found enough to pay for my detector yet! But you may agree, some folks just have searching out treasure in their veins, and there is nothing you can do about it, except embrace it! Will probably get another sales job soon so I'm just living and learning everyday, trying to get by day to day.

My husband and I own a sharpening business and sell knives and scissors.
(If anyone likes Moore Maker knives, we have good prices!)
We are also catastrophic claims adjusters. We don't want anyone to get hurt, we just want your stuff to get messed up!
