I get to kick all of your packages around... (just kidding) I am a UPS driver. I've been there 20+ years. Yes, I started there when I was pretty young...

Default Those sleeves are what?

35yrs. up on the roofs & now I would explain what I do but I'm not sure if theres enough room or time or if thers a name for it Besides I don't want anyone to have nightmares . INDY, don't feel bad about those sleeves being backwards cuz if someone was wearing it and forgot something, they'd already have a headstart turning around to go get it.

at present I am a corporate tax CPA by day

yes I like reading the tax code and filling out those long forms, my wife says I am boring ............*sigh*

Other hobbies include, metal detecting, photography and turning the occasional wrench on a car or two.

I grew up a farm boy, poured grey iron for a foundry when I was a kid and bullet proof, worked with cascade refrigeration systems for a defense contractor before I went back to school for accounting.

Some day I will grow up and figure out what I want to be in life !!

I am 59 and refuse to grow up. I am getting ready to retire and still don't know what I want to do when I do grow up! I am a charter member of the Peter Pan society and a life member of the Jack Benny 39 for life club.

Default Greetings all

(my 2nd post)

I'm brand new to metal detecting (just bought a used cheapy Pioneeer for $50.00 at a flee market but it works) I live in Santa Cruz, Ca and work for an environmental hedge fund. I have my series 7, 65 and spent time with Morgan Stanley/Merrill Lynch and also spent about 14 years in high-tech sales.

I also enjoy gold panning/sluicing, horses and driving way to fast and cooking.

Looking forward to reading more and getting out to the beach this summer to find some treasure and walk off some fat!

nice to meet you all.

John

I started out studying Interior Decorating at Auburn in AL. But I found I liked doing everyone's hair and makeup and picking out there clothes more than i liked to study. So.... I headed to Beauty School, worked for a few years opened my own shop only to be diagnosed as a juevenile diabetic and found my legs just couldn't take it. So now my lovely hubby has decided I should be a stay at home "doggy mom". I just hang out work on a few clients and watch the chihuahuas fight. Pretty boring and so that is where metal detecting has come in handy. It is one activity that I love and it does not flair up my asthma and I still gets lots of exercise what could be better. Oh and Indy I think you are just so busy you didn't know if you were coming or going when you sewed your sleeves. You are a great lady raising kids, working sewing and metal detecting.
