I guess just being an old fart makes me resistant to technological progress. I don't have a cell phone but my beautiful wife Beverly has convinced me to take hers this weekend. And I am excited about getting to hunt with others from TQ. Whitesdfx is hosting Dirtdigger and I for a couple of hunts on Friday. I will do my best to take the time to get some pics and write down how we do.
I have always been a dreamer and I suspect many MD'ers are. One of the things I would like to do is to hunt with as many of the TQ family that I can. I am lucky that I can travel and do travel a lot. So this weekend I will hopefully see Eric and Paul to start me off on my quest. Will keep ya posted. Thanks for listening and will write again soon. Should be getting my Tiger Shark in a day or so.

Good luck JC,I'm sure you'll all have a great time and even if you don't dig treasure you have found each other.Can't wait till you get back and tell us all about the trip. HH

Have fun on your hunt! I think it's great to be able to meet with members face-to-face. Posting and emailing is great, but actually getting together knowing you already have something in common is terrific!
If you're ever in Chester County, PA, look me up. I'm afraid I don't know of any great places to detect, but maybe together we can rope minelab into showing us a few of his favourite haunts! |

Hey JC - this blogging thing is a pretty good idea! I might have to try it as well so people can read my random thoughts and scatterbrained ideas and questions that pop up in my head about this awesome hobby.
