My thoughts on MDing

I was sitting here and thinking how happy I am to have taken the plunge this past February, when I bought my MD. It's really more of a journey than a hobby, don't you think? With each hunt, I have an opportunity to connect with someone in the past, even if it's just yesterday or 20 years ago. I'm sort of a shy person (yes, EPC Guy, I am 
), so for me to contact random people and ask permission to hunt an area is a personal triumph.
Anyway, I am just so happy to have a hobby that allows me to get outside and enjoy the Southern California weather. I don't have a bicycle and hate to run and walking can be boring to me. I like to exercise, so this is perfect for me because I get a chance to find really cool stuff and money!!
A by product of this hobby (and a really cool one at that) is that I've met a few really cool people that I never would have if I hadn't started MDing. EPC Guy and his wife, and Greenwenvy and his buddy Kevin. I owe all of it to TQ, too.
My hope is that everyone can tollerate my sense of humor and not be offended. Sometimes I get way off topic, but I mean well.

Pris - your sense of humor was the main reason I asked you to hunt with me in the first place! I think most of the good folks on TQ appreciate your humor as well...
For those of you who haven't yet had the privilege of meeting Pris - let me tell you how I found her to be...she is intelligent, kind, FUNNY, generous - in short, she's a treasure...oh, yeah - she also has beautiful eyes...what can I say? I'm married - not blind! I hope that all of you have the chance to meet her and Noelle - you'll see what I mean! |
