Posted 05-09-2008 at 10:51 PM by Titan Man
Got a chance to go check out our local tot lot this afternoon. My first dig got me a Coke can. Things got much better from there on. I got 3 pennies, one quarter, one nickle Also got some trash and a 2008 penny that was just laying on the ground and a pencil also laying on the ground. I was really rolling and the rain started so I had to quit. I will be back tomorrow. All coins were clad. This is the first time I have tried a Tot Lot and it was fun. I ordered my detector on Sunday

Posted 05-03-2008 at 08:05 PM by legalmumbojumbo
I ordered my detector on Sunday, April 27th. I am receiving an Ace 250, which happens to be a pleasant surprise. I originally intended to buy a Bounty Hunter Tracker IV. I bought from a company based in Cally, named Detection.com

In other news, I happened to receive a great package with it. A rain cover, a bag, stereo headphones, a trowel and the coil protector....

Picked up a Yamaha Big Bear 400 ATV and it performs like a dream! It's inaugural weekend was spent roaming areas of the old Cochiti Mining District of New Mexico (with a little bit of detecting). A few finds were had, including part of an old hand sheep-sheer, a few pieces of tack, and my first Indian Head (1906). I had a great time, got a bit...
