Cooler Weather & Time To ...

Posted 11-24-2007 at 10:02 AM by NC_Hunting
get the ole Garrett out for some detecting. This summer and the early fall was very hot and humid around here which is a definite deterent to me. Now the weather is cooling and the crops are just about harvested and I am looking forward to getting back to some of the old farmstead sites that I discovered last winter. I've been out twice so far ... once to an old house site that is now a soybean field and once to a 100 year old house that's empty right now about 2 doors down from me. The 100 year...

Still Sick????

Posted 11-17-2007 at 07:11 PM by Mr.Silver
Sick ain't the word for it, someday I feel blah and other day's I feel alright, still got a sore throat, congestion even went to doctors 2 times in 1 week. Finally, my ear popped today, I have heard a word since the FMDAC HUNT in Nov. 2, Never missed a day of work, but I hoped I did not make everybody sick at Kohl's, I missed MD'ing with the guy's and lady's, so I even put the MD's up for the season

The injuries: One large gash in my forehead surrounded and elevated by a nice egg-shaped welp followed by a black eye; sore back; very...

Such is, such was

Posted 11-15-2007 at 08:46 PM by munderwood66
I am a T-shirt and blue jean kind a guy. So much so in fact that I had always expressed my desire to be buried in said items. As my life has changed, so have my opinions; I now wish to be cremated with ashes scattered half in the New River and half in the surf at the ocean, the two places that have always given my joy and release from my mental anguishes. But when it does come down to it, as my luck goes, I'll be stuck for eternity in a pine box and a stuffy 3 piece suite...such is life, or in...
