Surface bottles???

Hey quick question for my fellow hunters, judging from surface bottles/size of site/location of the site....is there any way to guess how old/how long it was used???? sorry if this doesnt make much sense i didnt sleep much last night

It is VERY HARD to determine the age of a bottle site until you have actually dug down in the site about a foot or more. If it is a med to large site you can just about bet it will contain older bottles due to the fact that it has been used for years instead of months.
Do a little digging, especially around the middle of the pile and see what you come up with...

hey pappy...thanks for the advice, i started digging at the edge of hill side that goes down to a rivine two feet down and im still finding all kinds of stuff....pappy check out my last pics under "im back with goodies" let me know what you think...im going to start a new thread with close ups of my strange bottles i've found so far.....
