Foundt these today Pappy
I found these today and was only able to carry a few back as I was afraid of breaking them. Anyways this was all I could carry as I seem to have stumbled upon an old dump ground and I really haven't cleaned these up much other than knock the dirt off 'em. If'n I can get my old truck closer to the location, I found enough to load it up a couple of few times.

No honestly, I found them today. I was tracing some of my deceased aunts old maps she left me and one lead to the City of Greenville Texas dumpground from the late 1800's-1920s. Man I never seen so many old bottles there. Most are in the edge of the creekbank just laying there. My digi is due back tomorrow and I will get a pic of the spot to show you.

You found yourself a nice early dump there James,
Keep looking because there could be some big money bottles there, find a few of these and get yourself a new detector

Carry'n Bottles safely
Hi Every One, New Member here, here's some good advice on carrying bottles home. Go to your local liquor store and ask for some boxes with the inserts that new liquor came in. Then all your bottles will be saved. Also, when You dig up bottles in the summer time when its very hot, they can crack when the sun hits them, so bring something to cover them and keep them cool.
Those are some nice bottles Toadie.
