Default Antique Coke Bottle?

I purchased an old looking Coke bottle thirty years ago for $20. It looks very similar to the "center slug plate script" bottle displayed on antiquebottles.com.

The glass color is clear to a very light green.

The print is plain script (non logo) and states:

PROPERTY
OF
COCA-COLA
BOTTLING CO.

PINE BLUFF, ARK.
REGISTERED

The back of the bottle is plain with the exception of small script along the bottom saying:

MINIMUM CONTENTS 6 1/2 FLU.OZ

The bottom only was a large S.W.

There are no serial numbers at all.

Any thoughts on age, history or value?

Thanks,
James

Default Coke Bottle

James, First of all WELCOME to the TQ FAMILY ! It's really good to have you with us and we look forward to your post's and pic's.

I don't see a slug plate on your particular bottle. I think it is a later verson of the Coke Squat Bottle but I am not sure. Maybe Mr. Silver ( PERRY) has an opinion on this bottle also.

One sure way to get it identified is to e-mail the photo of the bottle and the information that you have posted here to:

Reggie Lynch at:

rlynch@antiquebottles.com

Reggie has been collecting and selling Coke Bottles forever and if he can't identify it for you I don't really know who can.

Beautiful Bottle !

Let us know what you find out from Reggie.
