From the land of the Bluenose...this is a Donavan gingerbeer bottle found while detecting around an old well. Apparently they made the bottom round so it could not be set down and thus folks would drink quikerand more. Any truth to this Pappy?

From the land ofthe Bluenose...sounds logical for sure sir. Thanks for the info. The big craze here is the ceramic or whatever they are made of crocks. One place I hunt which is an island actually had a factory there that produced these. In the 50's we had a neat pop bottle design that was called a wishing well. Doesn't do a thing for this bouy but would love to find an in tact bottle from Bluenose ginger ale..this has a stenciled photo of th Bluenose on it! Nice to have you around to answer
