Question Bounty Hunter Quick Silver.

I am also looking for information on the Quick Silver. So if anyone had any experience with the BH Quick Silver or tips & tricks on this model I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Default Which Quicksilver?

Hi! Do you have the Quicksilver 1 or 2? I have the Original Quicksilver, it is liteweight and is a pleasure and joy to use. Very simple to operate. Not sure what the differences would be if you have the 2? Joe

LittleWolf, you have the 2. Although on that website they are just calling it the QuickSilver. Mine looks totally different but they may work similarly. Mine is probably at least 10 years old or so! What Questions do you have?.......JOE

The 4 probable target ID's on the display are.

1) Iron
2) AL ZN
3) AL 5 cent
4) Coins

It has detect and reject under each of the 4.
It also has a depth meter on the display shallow/medium/deep

4 push buttons which are on, off, target X reject and depth select.

That pretty much covers the selections on unit itself I hope that helps.

I got my BH Quick Silver. I live in Minnesota so ground is a bit to hard to dig. But the detector did pretty good as far as I can tell in air test. I went outside and in about 50 feet in a straight line I picked up about 15 targets. Most junk but hey it works pretty good. I can't say how great considering this is the first detector I've owned. I will however be taking a Teknetics Mark I out for a test drive for a bit. Then I can maybe get a good idea on how well the QS does. Even though the Mark I is a 20+ yr old machine it still was top of the line when it came out.
