Default depends

a beer can at 6 or more inches reads as a quarter at 2 inches on my machine. shallower it reads as a .50 (half). on or near surface a get that deep grunt of an over load.

hope it helps

I dug two today that I thought were quarters. I really kinda knew it from the tone. I dig anyway, might not be a can, Beale.

I have hit Pop and Beer cans that register as a quarter. Usually checking in the All Metal Mode confirms its not a coin due to the large detection pattern.

I have yet to dig up a Full one, but if I ever do, I'm definetely gonna crack it and celebrate........, then rebury the Tab.....
