BullsEye Pinpointer The Whites Electronics entry into the PinPointer market is the BullsEye pinpointer. Works side by side with Whites detectors. It's easy. It's fast. Just locate the target with your detector, push the button and "zero in" on the target's exact location. No tuning. Completely automatic. Works in either "vibration" or "audio" mode. Powerful LED light illuminates target areas when the button is pushed. Powered for up to 20 hours on a single 9-Volt battery.

Default Bullseye, go another way.

I bought a Bullseye II pinpointer from whites for $99.00. One problem with the pinpointer is the connections to the 9v battery bend if dropped. I don't mean dropped off a cliff but just from the car seat to the floor of the car will do it. The battery contact will bend inward away from the battery box loosing contact with the battery. The fix is to take the thing apart and reposition the battery contact and refasten the cover using the five screws. The design flaw is the use of a cheaper folded metal battery terminal soldered to the circuit board that is not supported against bending rather than make a spring type connection like in flashlights and many other devices. The second problem as listed many times in the forums is the weak on off switch on the Bullseyes side. Mine just started this intermittent on off problem. I think I need to design another way to turn the unit on and off. This unit is only 6 mos old. I contacted whites sales dept by email and did not recieve a response. I ususlly don't bash products but the fact whites could not respond to my email I felt better warning others off. If the Bullseye is such a great unit they wouldn't be giving them away. I would suggest staying away from this poorly designed pinpointer.
