Default Hey Free2Detect

Lockhart Ferry pictures.
Photo #1 is the foundation, all that is left of the original building.
Photo #2 is the sign.
Believe that this is all on the Fort Crook Museum grounds.

Default Hey, Free2Detect #2

What's left of the Afterthought Mining Co. These are the main structures, there are some more metal and concrete footings futher down stream but this is the impressive part.

Default Hornitos Ca

My wife and I took a drive through Hornitos, another Ghost town in California that's way off the beaten path. There remain a goodly number of well preserved buildings and even a church with graveyard. This is St Catherines, built sometime between 1860 - 1865.
The original site of Ghiradelli's Store is here also, along with Engine House Nr 29, horse drawn fire engine!
