Hello PA...... I love the photo of the 4 guys! Imagine seeing them coming at you in the woods of the deep south!!
Here's one if you are interested. This fellows name was General Ames. His story can be found here
The reason this guy is interesting to me is, after the war he built a castle in my town. In the early 80's I bought the carridge house at the bottom of the street where the caretaker lived. Story has it that the caretaker would come out and open the gates for the folks visiting Gen Ames in the castle. The staircase in my house was from an old Mississippi riverboat. I sold the house after living there for 10 years and bought something a little more modern!!
Anyhow, here's a photo of Gen. Ames, whom I understand was not very well liked!!:
