Default Coin years

OK I know the American quarter 1964 or older has the silver in it. How about the other coins? At what year do all of the American coins become worth keeping? I hope my question is understandable. I was very happy to find a 1943 quarter a week or so ago in my change from a McDonalds and since I was going to be getting my MD on Friday I want to know what else to look for.

All American coins are worth keeping. At least they all should be checked with the Red Book. Unless you know for sure it would just be spending money. There could be a double stamp or something that would make it different from any others.
I believe there is a modern penny that is rare and very valuable.
There are 1965 SILVER dimes and if you found one it would be enough to retire on.
After all
money is money no matter how much it is worth.

I did find a really nice clipped nickel in my change.
Almost spent it at a restaurant until I realized what I had in my hand.

Can't find the pic but may post one later.
This post makes me want to check my change again.
