Default My New Goal

Both of my children had to sell some things for their school recently and one of the items I puchased for them was a kids version of the state quarter collection folders. As I was looking at it when it arrived, the thought crossed my mind that would be an excellent "goal" to set for those of us who have a hard time finding the older "keeper" coins (silver, wheaties, Indian Heads, Mercs, etc.).

This goal is one that you can pride yourself once you fulfill it: Buy yourself a State Quarter collectible folder and only add to it those state quarters that you find while metal detecting. I have one started already from my pocket change finds - now I am going to start another one from my metal detecting finds.

That sounds Interesting ,, I have a cent collection all from metal detecting .of course it is far from complete but it is not exactly a small project either .

I usually spend the state quarters I find on other coins !

I still have all my clad coins since I have been metal detecting. I will add the ones I have in the folder now and will work on a second "finds" folder and both of these can be passed down to my two children one day.
