I purchase alot of coins ,but never from HSN ,,their offerings are completely out of line price wise .

in fact in most case 2 or 3 times the actual value and some I have seen are more than 6 times actual value .

Yep, I agree with Metalnan and dougdann. I seen them a few times, pretty amusing sometimes.

I've never bought from HSN - but I just received a 1921 Morgan S dollar that I bought from a private firm that is advertising on TV...I paid 19.95 for it - and it is in Very Fine condition...makes it worth about....20 bucks! I wasn't disappointed in the purchase - but once you get on the phone with this outfit to place an order - it's all automated - and they keep you on the line for 20 minutes trying to get you to buy other stuff...and you have to stay on the line until the end in order to get your purchase confirmation...I doubt I'll buy there again just for that!

good advice not to buy from them. Their coins are never a good deal. JC

I never have & never will but know some people that did & they totally got ripped off, weren't in the good condition as advertised & cost way too much.

I buy directly from the mint or from a guy with a booth at the farm market. My wife has bought a few things from those coin companies that come with your credit card bill that were a great deal. We always cancel the membership enrollment.
