Default Peace and 2 cent ?

Greg, I picked some coins up at a house auction today and I was wondering what the 1865, 2 cent mainly is in condition. The Peace is nice but I am not sure of the grade. I will have a great picture later this month hopefully, of the reason I picked this sale. I bought the entire coin set to get this one. It is a 1855 Seated Liberty Dollar in VF-EF??"Had to Edit" Not really sure after examing it closer. It went to PCGS today....Wish me luck!

Howdy,
The peace dollar looks AU to UNC from the pic.

Your two cent piece looks like the grade would be an About-Good due to the obverse rim being worn away.

On another note your 1855 seated dollar would be:

VF $2000
XF $4000 .....Retail

I cant tell from the pic If the Peace Dollar has a mint mark ? it appears to be a strong MS-63 and possibly in hand would make a 64, with an average value of between 30 and 50 dollars for the philly and 50 to 125.00 for the Denver .

I agree with Greg on the grade of the 2 cent, although I will add this,, it appears to be slightly off center and this could account for the rim being worn also check the date there are several known overdate varieties for the 1865 two cent piece some of them being very rare and could add a very nice premium to the coin.
