1971-1976 40% silver?
I have these clad silver dollars in used cond.From what I saw on an internetsite Eisenhower silver dollars between 1971 and 1976,which is the bicentenial year,have 40% silver and worth about $5.36 ea.Is this correct?? If so I have 54 of them which is $289.44.Can anyone tell me if I am correct? If so cool! Gary

Hi Gary,
There is no silver in your E. Dollars. They are clad. The Gov put out some silver clad but not for circulation. Now your halves from 1965-1970 have 40% silver with the 1970 being the key date which were only made for proof & mint sets. Hope this helps some & if you have anymore questions please ask away
