Default Contest #10 Ends Monday ......

.....There's still plenty of time to get your enteries in!! We had rain today so I took out the new camera and took a couple of photo's for fun. Rain coming out of gutter, sprinkles in my pond, sunrise....and the last one is what is behind the old house I always MD, its a natural spring and it has that old wheel just sitting there, looks really cool. Default Really nice, Indy!

Looks like the new camera is working out for you. You sure are turning out to be a pretty nice photographer. Keep it up! I know it's fun and with a digital, instant gratification. WTG

Can you give yourself the prize? (j/k)

Default Nice Indy !

Your getting creative again ! But may i suggest removing the powerline in your sunset photo.Mabey you could crop it out.I have a nice view of the sunrise out my kitchen window if not for thouse darn powerlines.I used to try and erase them by coloring them in.But thanks to Chuck now i can crop em out ! Our i guess i could get off my behind and walk the 25 feet or so to get around em.

You know Rip....I really didn't see them. They are always there when I look to the east, just got used to them 'being there'....don't think about them much.
Pris- I'm still waiting for you to floor us all with your enteries for contest 10.

Default Nice stuff

I really like the wheel in the creek photo. Would you mind if I did a little touch up on it to give you a better idea of what you captured. The auto settings on most camera software leaves things a little flat.

Here is what I came up with for your photo.

I warmed it up a touch, shaded the corners to emphasize the wheel, re-framed it just slightly, not only to a better rule of thirds, but to take a little more advantage of the diagonal of the creek.

You have a very cool shot, and a great eye. Nicely done Jeff........very nice!
