Default Pelican - Ham

Well today is my last vacation day in Florida. I wanted to share a photo of a pelican on the beach. This guy or gal seemed like it was posing for everyone. I was able to walk up and take several shots of the bird with the sun setting in the background.

Well back to Michigan!

pelican-ham-pelican-2.jpg Hey Patrick, beautiful "picture", just a suggestion, same "picture", but more on the "Rule of Thirds". Where does it draw your eyes when you open the photograph? Composition before you squeeze the button, can make a difference, can turn a "picture you took", into a photograph you created!

Default Great sunset

I like the sunset shot, but then I'm kind of a sucker for Gods art work...
It was nice of the blue heron to pose for you.

Have a safe trip back, and keep the great photos coming.

Hey Golddigger;
Did you pack or carry your detector? Did you get out much and find anything??? We leave in 2 weeks. We are going to risk carrying ours on with us.

Thanks for the feedback on the photos.

I packed my detector. We were mostly around a private beach. I found 27cents in clad. I tried to detect when the tide pulled back but the salt water freaked out my GTAx and it would not work on the beach near the water.

I did not get many tones on the dry sand so either the beach was really clean or again it was an issue with all the shells and minerals?
