I hope I’m doing this correctly.

Wrightsville beach N.C. just as the sun was coming up. The fog over the water masked the early sunrise at low tide. Taken with a Kodak easy share C433

Very nice capture of the early sunrise! I would like to have seen it a little larger (800 x 600) and compressed in IRFANVIEW though. Check out the "sticky" post on the Digital Camera Forum about the free download program, IRFANVIEW. It will allow you to resize to 800 x 600, and then save it compressed for the thumbnail, but will open when clicked on to the larger size.

Nice photo, like the different bands of color you have running through the shot.

Smile Great photo!

You have great conposition here; soft color bands, strong contrast, and by having someone in the photo you have given it perspective (size).

Well done! Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Thanks all. I’ve owned a digital camera for about a month now and have learned allot form your critiques.

Especially thanks to who ever gave the tips within my posts. I’m new to the site so I assume you’re an admin. or mod.

Irfanview is a pretty good editor. If you want a little more control in the future, pick up Photoshop Elements. I played around like Chuck did. Here is my Elements version.

Whow, Jeff man that’s COOL. both pics look better and clearer than it did on the beach! I really like the way the sun beam shines across the water and lines up with the depression in the sand, and all in the center of the pic.
