Latest wildlife photos..

Sorry I haven't been around the board lately - been busy with Spring chores - even though its still like winter here. Did manage to get out and take some wildlife shots the past few weeks. All taken with the Nikon D-80 and 70-200mm f/2.8 af-s vr lens and obviously different lighting conditions.

A Redtail hawk looking over his shoulder back at me.


A female Merganser on the river.


Some grouse from a couple days ago




A nice Wood Duck


Wish I had both these centered - would have been a nice pic with the blue background



And a Goose on takeoff.


And lastly a Hooded Merganser.

Thanks for sharing Dave, I liked the wildlife photo's the "Goose on takeoff" is my favorite but they are all good. Were you shooting from a blind or are you just very sneaky. Have a great day and the best of luck....Richard
