Default Photo Challenge #22

Seems I have the honor of selecting the next challenge subject.
I was out in the garden picking dinner when the next challenge came to me. Vegetables...Show me fresh, veggies..
Believe me they are a wonderful photographic subject, specially if you are able to do close up photography..
Couple hints, if you don't have a veggie garden of your own go visit the guy down the street with the old house who's always giving squash away... Maybe he'll let you detect too.
Cut veggies in half and take a close up..
Got a local Farmer's Market?
I once was making a pot of tomato sauce, looked down inside before I turned on the heat and COOL, there was a photo.
Crawl under a squash plant, you'll be amazed at the world under there just waiting to be photographed..
Why yes, I did spend quite a bit of time in San Francisco during the 60s, why do you ask?
I digress.. Same rules apply, three photos max. you know the drill..
Challenge ending date.. Wednesday August 22nd 6:00 PM Pacific..
THE PRIZE.. The coveted and much sought after Two Dogs Bob hand forged Long Horn Steak Turner.. Picture of which will be posted when I find it again..
That's it gang, go forth and show me VEGGIES....

Great photography being entered.
Anne, if your learning and thinking about photography your already a winner.
Chuck, for a guy who doesn't like still life your really good at it. Personally I love still life and stay a mile away from portraits which your excellent at.

Default The prize

Posting a photo of the prize for this challenge, the TwoDogsBob hand forged long horn steak turner..
Be the envy of your block party yearly BBQ...
No I do not make these for sale so no self promotion here...
Also including a few veggie photos I've done in hopes it will stir some imagination...
Good Luck
