Default Found this guy hanging around in the yard.

Figured i'd take a photo of him. It's called a banana spider the smaller one is the male.

Zoiks!!! If it's a real banana spider, aren't they one of the world's deadliest? Hey,I just looked up banana spider online and found this beauty. It says they're highly venomous.



Yours looks like this, I think. It's not a dangerous spider, but its web can trap small birds and bats!!! Great photos.

I hate walking through the woods this time of year with those banana spider webs. they are as strong as nylon and as sticky as glue. The spiders make a nice sound when you hit them with a machete.
