I usually use my Fuji S5200 which is about as big and heavy as your Canon. just start taking it you will get used to it I promise! You will get really into it I bet?? Just start shooting pics of everything. It's digital, costs nothing! You will get really good you'll see!

I have been photographing since high school I took my Canon to Hawaii and it made me miserable. That was years ago and now I Choose to take a lighter version. I go through stages of taking photos of everything. I have some of my photos that are hanging as art in people's homes. I just have gotten the bug again lately.

Great photos by both of you...my wife is the photographer in our house..we have several enlarged, matted and framed in our house...she's actually sold a couple too. I'm afraid that digging is my calling....

Great photo. If you was to open the shutter a little bit long you would of drowned out the moon.
