I use a Konica minolta Dimage Z2 its a 4 mega pixel camera with a 40X optical zoom both macro and super macro .
Its fit my needs for the majority of the photography I do . which is macro coin photo's Back ground and lighting are essential elements when doing this type of photography,,simply because there is nothing else in the frame . and that does not even take into account the surfaces of the coin which can vary greatly even on the same coin, from color to reflective to frosted. this coin was especially challenging .
