Thanks all great place to visit if y'all are ever in the area.
I got perrmision to hunt a farm that borders the road that was built by Clintons men to reach the lake,it's a long drive but I hope to hit it this summer sometime.

Rip, nice pictures for sure. Have always wanted to see the baseball hall of fame...Someday ...Also I liked reading JF Coopers books too...I read some where that one of them was about a rescue that Danial Boone did when his daughter was kidnapped by the Indians.Think that was The Deerslayer.....Ended well for Boone for sure...Buster....

Very nice area, for sure. It looks very cold, though. Maybe you should wipe off the lense of your camera? Wasn't it just in the 60s there a couple of weeks ago?!? What the hey!

Thanks Buster,I recently read the true story of the guy that Cooper based his charactor Naty bumpo on.Ill see if I can find it and send ya the link.I think you'll like it.

Yeah almost 70 a couple of days,It was about 10 degrees when I was at the lake this morning. I really dont like NY much in the winter.

Hey Prizimpal and Beale the statue is known as "the deerslayer statue" and is meant to represent an Indian hunter.
