Neither, Beale. They're Blacktail. Very few Whitetail in Oregon and Mule deer are high Cascades and East. Blacktail Cascades and West to Ocean.

Haven't had venison in some time, but wife cooks it in a crockpot with mushroom soup. Delicious and tender. I haven't hunted in 20 years, but occasionally someone will share. Couldn't bring myself to shoot one in my yard......wouldn't be fair. Besides, I like them around. Wife won't admit it, but she does, too.
