Default I took a stroll in my backyard with the camera this morning

Spring has definitely sprung in Bermuda. It was blowing and cool this morning on my walk in the gardens with our dog Bree, but beautiful nonetheless. The Bird of Paradise is blooming, the Locquats are in full fruit, even the bananas and paw paws are getting close to picking.(you have to pick these green or the rats get them first) Another month and I'll have fresh coconut milk to make pina coladas with, Yum!
Everybody's backyard is different so I thought I would take this opportunity to show you mine.

Cheers,

BDA

Wow BDA, it looks like your yard is covered with bananas, guavas and papyas. It must be nice.

That is not fair!!! I'm green with envy. My back yard is gray and swampy. Beautiful pictures though. Thanks for sharing....I guess.

Just a harbringer of Spring, my dear. Soon your backyard will be green again, the birds will be chirping in the trees and winter will be just a distant memory. Just hang in there a little bit longer.

Cheers Hon,

BDA

The Trick is to have the hotel landscapers do all of the maintenance. The backyard is shared with the luxury resort next door to me (I live in the house that used to be the home of the original owner of the resort). It's like having your cake and eating it too.
4 acres of maintained grounds and a private beach; some days I feel like Magnum PI.(unfortunately the red Ferrari isn't part of the package)

Cheers Hon,

BDA

Hey BDA great pictures as usual! Your backyard looks fantastic! Heck I do not even have a tree in my yard. The previous owner took them down?

Well anyhow. Thanks for sharing, Beale.

That would definitely be nice to walk out your back door & pick fruit right off the trees, I drank coconut milk once, gave me the runs for 2 days

Obviously you forgot to add the black rum. Any Bermudian will tell you that Black Seal Rum 'cures' Everything!

Cheers,
