We just had a big snowstorm so spring is pretty much hidden around these parts.But Shawn says that my photo of the kawasaki reminds him of spring so I thought I would enter that one.I also remember getting a new bike for Christmas when I was a kid and couldent wait for spring to ride it so it also reminds me of that spring many years ago when I finally got to take it out for a ride.I took off down the hill and ran smack dab into a big maple tree and totaled it ! That hurt !

I was out on my patio this morning having my morning coffee and a male Cardinal was making a racket by calling and calling for a mate in the tree next door, a sure sign of spring. I've always liked Cardinals but his song was so sad and lonely as no birds responded except for the Green Parrot who lives next door. Good mimics, Green Parrots but apparently not quite good enough.

Around my house, the first sign that spring is on the way is when my dog P-Nut starts laying on the car, working on the "tan" on his tummy. He does this every year, starting out pale and getting darker and darker as the summer passes. *Disclaimer*P-Nut is only on the rope when he goes out to tan and pee
