Talking My metal detector enjoying the beach

I hit one of the local beaches on Monday, didn't find much, but took this shot of my detector and sand scoop. Thought y'all might like it.

Cheers :)

Default nice pic

I'm thinking about getting out to the local reservoir, before too much snow melts,so I can hit the beach while it's out of the water, will have to time it right, wait for the snow to melt, but not all of it or the beach will be under water.
We have had good snow pack in the mountains this year, most of the reservoirs will be flowing over into their glory holes when the big runoff begins. If I can,I will get a picture of this it's an awesome sight if you've never seen it before, almost frightening actually. Imagine a twenty foot dia. pipe drain just a few feet below the top level of the dam usually a hundred yards or so away it's only underwater when the water is really high,a few years ago the owyhee reservoir got this high for the first time in a long time, the water was about afoot or two over the drain and with all the mud in the water you couldn't see the pipe below only a giant swirling black hole foud a link on the web to it look at the lower left picture for owyhee res.
Google Image Result for http://picturesofcascade.com/smallphotos2/Glory_Hole_5441A.jpg

if you browse around this guy's pictures abit you'll see why we love living in Idaho,we've been to several places this fellow has pictures of ,we camped at middle hazard lake a couple of years ago approx 22 miles off thew main road it's blacktop the first five to where the Brundage ski area is then 17 miles of rocky washboarded road
