Default Learn from my mistakes..

Went out shooting today, beautiful old barn, light was perfect, horses with manes flowing in the wind running in the background... Life is good, right..
NO! When I got home I downloaded my shots and they were all BLUE..
WHAT THE ......
I had been shooting some still life stuff earlier in the day under incandescent light, had gone into the menu, tweeked the settings in the camera for shooting under those conditions and forgot when a friend called and said "Let's go" to change it back.. DUH
Oppertunity lost but lesson learned and not to be forgotten soon.
Whimper......

I'm not sure what camera you have, but if your camera is able to shoot in "raw" mode, you can adjust all the white balance settings after you take the shot to account for any change in light temperature.

After the original OH NO wore off had a good laugh. MOST of the time I reset everything before I go out just so this doesn't happen in case I HAVE tweeked something on the last session.
Don't shoot RAW and playing around in Photoshop to bring them back still leaves them a little sub par so... DELETE
Anyone for some slightly BLUE mountian lion tracks in snow..

Hate to admit this, I have a Nikon d200 that I'm just learning to shoot and I wasn't checking the playback.. I don't have the display menu set to automatically show images after shooting.. Another lesson learned.
What can I say, a friend and I were on a spontaneous jeep trip out 4 wheelin in the snow and my brain was on auto as well. Noticed as I get older it happens alot...
